Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how TrackHaus handles personal information in MVIP (Motor Vehicle Intelligence Platform) during the open Core Beta. The service is private by default: Garage records, Vehicle Passports and non-photo Document Vault files are not published or transferred to other users.

Information We Collect

Account information

Your name, email address, authentication details managed by our backend provider, profile settings and account dates.

Garage and vehicle information

Information you enter about vehicles, including make, model, year, VIN or registration, odometer, purchase details, service history, modifications, dyno results, notes and timeline events.

Documents and photos

Vehicle photos and files you choose to upload. Non-photo Document Vault files are treated as private and may contain sensitive ownership, registration, insurance, finance or workshop information.

Watchlist information

Models, listings, target prices, locations and notes that you choose to save.

Billing information

Subscription status, plan and payment references. Stripe processes card details; TrackHaus does not store your full card number.

Technical information

Security, diagnostic and basic usage logs generated when you access the service, such as request times, error information, browser or device details and network identifiers made available to our service providers.

TrackHaus does not sell personal information. Public Passport sharing, Seller Reports, ownership transfer, community data sharing, PPSR, NEVDIS, automated monitoring, push notifications and automated marketing email are not active in Core Beta.

Storage, Security and Access

TrackHaus uses a managed application backend for database, authentication and file storage. Account ownership rules restrict normal users to their own vehicle and account records.

Non-photo Document Vault files use private storage and short-lived authenticated access links. Some legacy records may require additional storage review; TrackHaus does not describe a file as physically destroyed unless storage-level deletion is confirmed.

Authorised support administrators may access limited records when reasonably necessary for support, security, privacy or legal purposes. No security measure is perfect, so please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Service Providers and Overseas Processing

TrackHaus relies on service providers including Base44 for the managed application backend and Stripe for subscription payments. These providers may process information in jurisdictions where they or their subprocessors operate. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and Account Deletion Requests

We retain account, vehicle, document, watchlist and billing records while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, backup recovery, security, disputes and legal obligations.

You may submit an authenticated account deletion request from Profile → Privacy & Data or contact privacy@trackhaus.com.au. During Core Beta, requests are reviewed and actioned manually. Submitting a request does not immediately disable your account, delete records, start an automated schedule or send an automated email.

Before actioning a request, TrackHaus may verify your identity and clarify the records covered, the handling of private files, any recovery period and any limited records that must be retained. When personal information is no longer reasonably needed and no exception applies, TrackHaus will take reasonable steps supported by its providers to delete or de-identify it.

Access, Correction and Export

You may ask to access or correct personal information associated with your account. You can edit many profile and vehicle fields directly, record a manual export request from Profile → Export My Data, or contact privacy@trackhaus.com.au.

We may need to verify your identity and may ask what information or format you need. If a request cannot be completed as requested, we will explain the available next steps where required.

Send privacy questions, access or correction requests, and complaints to privacy@trackhaus.com.au. We will review and respond within a reasonable period. Information about Australian privacy rights and complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
